Lola's initial recovery has been rather stressful too. This time she had a lot of swelling and fluid which of course has to drain (sorry to be graphic!) and only now has it stopped - she's also needed to be watched 24/7! She didn't really help herself either by extracting some of the staples from the wound! Now we start the long road to recovery - fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly from here on in!
On happier news the new challenge is up at A True Friend - This time the challenge was to scrap 'The Face I Love". An easy challenge for me as I adore taking portrait shots of my girls! I've chosen to 'do' Martha with her silly floppy jowls and huge hairy ears that she still needs to grow into!
There are some fantastic pages as always by the rest of the Design Team - I especially love Debbies gorgeous ratty page! Brings back great memories of Ratties in my past!

I'm so sorry to read about Chloe, she was such a beautiful dog. I hope Lola continues to recover well. My parents golden retriever suffered the same crutiate injury when he was a pup and, although it took a while, he did make a good recovery. Best wishes, Stephanie.
Hi Katy, so sorry for your loss. Hope Lola is better soon xx
Also letting you know ive tagged you, see my blog :)
I am so sorry for your loss. I read your blog and right away hoped it would take a long time before it would happen to me. But .. destiny kicked in and we had to let our Duke go to the rainbow bridge last tuesday. It hurts like h*** and I wish I could cuddle him just one more time. Life will never be the same .. hang in there!
